Welcome, I'm Eneko, a PhD student in Operations Research at the University of Zurich under the supervision of Prof. Oleg A. Prokopyev. I earned a BSc in Mathematics from EPFL in 2020 and an MSc in Applied Mathematics from ETH Zurich in 2022.
My research studies algorithmic decision-making in operations from both a micro and a macro perspective. At the micro level, I study how to model and solve complex decision problems involving uncertainty and hierarchical interactions. At the macro level, I study how algorithmic decision-makers interact and how these interactions shape market outcomes. On the methodology side, my research lies at the intersection of mathematical programming, learning, and game theory.
Before starting my PhD, I worked in quantitative risk management at Axpo, machine learning at the Swiss National Bank, and consulting at Deloitte.
